A Day at The Langley Luxury Dog Hotel
We understand that every dog has its own personality, likes and dislikes. We strive to personalise our guest’s stay. With twelve luxury suites and a trained, experienced and dedicated team we offer an unrivalled level of love, care and attention for your best friend.
The daily routine below may well vary according to each dog’s needs.
Our day starts at 7am with an early morning nature call for our guests. Breakfast is served and once our guests are relaxing in their private courtyard their room is cleaned and serviced.
A morning activity session includes a wellbeing check, coat brushing session and plenty of cuddles. An activity session in one of the grassed play areas or in the summer months a splash in a paddling pool.
At midday our guests can lounge in their room watching their favourite movie, take a nap, or sunbathe in their private courtyard. A selection of Australian made treats, seasonal fruit and vegetables are served.
In the afternoon there is more opportunity for a range of activities to ensure the physical and mental stimulation of your best friend. Our Spa room is available for more intense grooming, an aromatherapy bath and even a gentle massage.
High Tea is served around 4pm and before lights out a final evening nature call, a wellbeing check, cuddle and kisses and softly piped music ensuring a good night’s sleep.
Our Suites
At The Langley we like to do things differently. Our pampered guests do not share a suite with strangers; sharing with house mates is a different matter – our private suites are large enough to accommodate up to three guests from the same family.
Every suite has its own grassed courtyard that allows your dog free access all day. The enclosed courtyard is private preventing any annoying interactions with other guests.
There are no additional charges* our rates include breakfast, complimentary Australian made healthy treats, fresh seasonal fruit and vegetables as snacks, personalised canine enrichment for mental, physical and emotional stimulation, High Tea, one on one play and cuddle sessions, daily photo updates and an aromatherapy bath before going home*.
The East Wing
The Garden Terrace Suite is particularly suited for smaller breeds and those older not so active dogs. Each suite has access to a private partially covered grassed courtyard. The Garden Terrace Suite features in-floor heating to half of the room, reverse cycle air conditioning, security camera, flat screen television, music, Kurunda trampoline bed, Australian made Snooza plush beds, small armchair, an abundant choice of appropriate “Kong” brand toys for supervised play sessions and room service at the touch of a bark. The Garden Terrace backs onto a garden with a grassed play area and access to the Spa room. With 20 square metres of luxury space, we invite you to spoil your best friend.
The Garden Terrace Suite Daily Charge is $90 each guest.
Check out is by 9-10am Monday to Friday and 10am -12 noon Saturday and Sunday. A late check out charge applicable to the daily suite rate for check out after these times applies.
The West Wing
The Langley Suite features 24 square metres of luxury space. Each suite has access to a private partially covered grassed courtyard with shade sails. The Langley Suite features in-floor heating to half of the room, reverse cycle air conditioning, a security camera, flat screen television, music, a daybed for larger breeds, Australian made Crown K9 trampoline beds, and Australian made Snooza plush beds, an abundant choice of appropriate “Kong” brand toys for supervised play sessions and room service at the touch of a bark. The West Wing backs onto two large, grassed play areas with access to the Spa room. We welcome you to indulge your best friend at The Langley Suite.
The Langley Suite Daily Charge is $99 each guest. If three housemates share The Langley Suite a discount of 10% of the total charge for the suite is applied. Check out is by 9-10am Monday to Friday and 10am -12 noon Saturday and Sunday. A late check out charge applicable to the daily suite rate for check out after these times applies.
The Penthouse
The Penthouse at The Langley is situated at the end of the West Wing which features a retreat of over 28 square metres of luxury. The Penthouse at The Langley has access to a private partially covered grassed courtyard with shade sail.
There is in floor heating to half of the room, reverse cycle air conditioning, security camera, large flat screen television, music, large daybed, Australian made Crown K9 trampoline bed and Australian made Snooza plush beds, an abundant choice of appropriate “Kong” brand toys for supervised play sessions and room service at a touch of a bark. The Penthouse at The Langley backs onto a large, grassed play area and has access to its own grassed play area and the Spa room.
Guests staying in The Penthouse at The Langley receive a complimentary aromatherapy bath and brush regardless of their length of stay. *

Guest Rates
Our rates may appear higher than your average boarding facility, but we are no average facility.
Probably one of its kind in Australia - certainly Victoria. We do not charge for all those additional add-ons* frequently seen. All our guests receive the same love, care and attention whether their stay is in the East or West Wing or The Penthouse at The Langley.
*Some medications such as injectables, will incur a charge. A minimum three-day stay is required for a complimentary aromatherapy bath. Elderly guests who require a high level of constant care may incur additional charges depending on their needs. Guests arriving with their coat in poor condition such as matting and excessive knotting, will be required to have their dog groomed when arriving at The Langley. An approximate cost will be provided and such costs will be paid by the owner.
Admission Requirements
It is a legal requirement that our guests are fully vaccinated and have a current C5 vaccination. These must be renewed yearly. Please ensure that your dog is up to date before their stay as we will be unable to admit them if they are out of date. We recommend that you provide evidence of their status at the time of booking. Please bring your dog’s vaccination card with you at check in.
Canine Cough is a disease caused by several different organisms which typically causes a dry hacking cough. All guests staying at The Langley must have a current Canine Cough vaccine to be able to attend. Unfortunately, the Canine Cough vaccination, like the Influenza vaccination is not 100% effective and there is always a slight chance of guests contracting Canine Cough. We take every measure to minimise the risk including deep cleaning and sterilising of all vacated rooms, and daily cleaning of occupied rooms with F10/Safe4 veterinary disinfectant. If any guest arrives displaying signs of Canine Cough they will not be admitted.
All guests must be flea free, and treatment must have been given not more than one month prior to admission. All guests must have had intestinal worm treatment not more than three months prior to admission. We pride ourselves on being a parasite free facility and documentation must be provided for flea and worm treatment at check in. If documentation is not available appropriate flea and worming treatment will be administered at an additional cost.
Unsterilised female dogs and intact male dogs are accepted at the Manager’s discretion.
Aggressive dogs are not welcome at The Langley Luxury Dog Hotel.
